Minecraft - Normandy
AS the title implies, i plan on making a Normandy Beach Setting in Minecraft.
But, i need your opinions. Heres what i have so far. Ive built the bunkers and reclaimed a ginormous beachhead from the sea (took me 3 hours real time working day AND night to fill the dam beach). But i was wondering what YOU would put. I MAY put ships out at sea, and i plan to make a couple pillboxes nd stuff. Basically looking a lot like Saving Private Ryan. Heres the screenshots (ignore the marker tower of dirt :P) P.S; i plan to make Pressure mines, Pillboxes, and to make a steeper terrain towards the bunker regardless ;) http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...7-40-44-42.jpg http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...7-41-17-49.jpg Oh and how would i build the machine guns in the bunkers? |
Update: Ive added the pillboxes, the pressure mines, the tank traps (they look like crap, but i honestly couldnt make it look like a tank trap), ive placed a wall in the middle of the beach to be breached, and
*drumroll* My latest and greatest Creation. A ship is out in the water WITH WORKING CANNONS! :yeah: I actually blew away half my beachead test firing my cannons I rebuilt and i MIGHT make a video movie about landing on D-Day (it might suck though :/ ) |
Very nice :D
I could never get cannons working right for me. I tried to build one to shoot at Task Forces fortress from my WWI trenches last map but only succeeded in blowing giant craters in front of my trenches...which added to the realism I guess... :hmmm: |
Thanks Oberon
Heres the Screenies. And the movie is going to be up in a couple hours. The movie isnt very good but it DOES involve alot of explosions :) Hers the link to the movie : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDx6LHkX3Ww http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...6-13-23-39.jpg http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...6-15-31-91.jpg http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...6-16-46-27.jpg http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...6-17-19-25.jpg http://i1028.photobucket.com/albums/...6-19-32-97.jpg |
