Invasions?

I was wondering if invasions like Operation Husky, Anvil, Overlord, etc. are actually portrayed in the core game or not. I'm playing without any add-ons or anything just FYI

In stock SH3 those operations aren't scripted to my knowledge. In GWX however, many of them are: Overlord (the naval part of the operation had a different name; Neptune) , Drumbeat, Husky, Weserübung, Dynamo and a bunch more.

Operation Pedestal is scripted into GWX3, after searching around for it I gave up after a while. Then found it by accident!

Hm, I've been thinking of trying sh3 in a different 'taste' so awaiting the new HAHD mod, I think I"ll check out WAC. However, it looks like a really big mod, so what are the system requirements?
