Me and my good friend took the boat out and went bass fishing Tuesday. Stayed out all day nearly.

I got a good 14 inch bass, and he caught about a 10" large mouth. both fish hit these guys...

got a bunch of nibbles that didnt produce anything.

first time out this season... im burned to a crisp and my right shoulder is so sore i can barely get my belt off from all the casting (must have cast that lure out 500+ times LOL)

but we had a hell of a good time, probably will go out again this Saturday morning around 5:30-6am



any good fish stories? anyone been out on the lakes this spring yet?

Two summers ago spent a couple weeks on a houseboat on the St. Lawrence and Rideau Canal. On the Rideau, the bass were loving the little spinenrs we picked up that week, we could easily pull a dozen or so out each day, fish on the grill each night.

Any pics of that Bass?

one right after we put it in the cooler and its not a very good pic. I can post it later on, have to get it off my phone.

size was estimated... cooler is 2ft long by 1ft wide... the fish took up just a hair over half of the length of the cooler.
