GTA.IV The Trashmaster
Here's something you don't see everyday.
French filmmaker Mathieu Weschler has invested two years creating the first feature-length (88 minutes) machinima movie made in the world of Grand Theft Auto IV. Plot: The “trashmaster” divides his time between collecting garbage and cleaning up other forms of trash fouling up New York City’s streets: dealers, small-time criminals… When the dancers in his favourite strip club are mysteriously killed, the trashmaster finds himself hot on the trail of a particularly twisted serial killer. good rating on imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1762364/ Might check this out. |
Interesting.... Want to see a trailer first though....
This caught my eye though: Quote:
Ohhhhh... I see now... it made all using GTA IV.... the game... gotcha.... not just based on the game.... |
So...will it have Niko drinking in Comrade's bar, after which he will steal a trash truck, collide with a police car, wonder why can't people drive in this country, then drunk drive the thing into a river and finally call his idiot cousin to send him a taxi? Because if it will, I'll watch it just for that.

Might be worth giving it a look if nothing else for novelty value. Trailer isn't bad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVYCXw-dSKE

That link redirected me to the rockstar site where it hosted the full movie! Will have to watch it later... it was loading funny for me.

Same here. That's why I've posted the YouTube trailer. The full length was very choppy even on a good broadband conexion.
EDIT: It takes a loooong time to load but if you let it buffer for a bit you can actually watch it. Watched the first 30 mins and it's not too bad. It does have a plot and is a bloody good effort from what I've seen so far. A bit corny in the dialogue department but the guy knows how to shoot a scene and use light and camera positioning really well. Here is the link to the full movie on Rosckstar Games site: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xfh...mes#from=embed |
Ta for the link...the trailer looked okay.
|
Looked interesting, will have to watch it later :yep: I really wish people would stick to using more 'standard' looking fonts, typewriter-style looks nice, but you'd never see that in a real trailer...
