Quick q regarding "automation" CTDs
Greets, I´m doing a dumb thing by throwing in a post before running off to a meeting, sorry if I´m uncoherent.
I´m running Magnum Opus plus have loaded Trevallys tutorials that make use of the "automation" thingy (not sure what the proper name is?). When running one tutorial, I belive it´s the first 90 degree attack tut, the "narrator" says that he´s going to run the TDC checker to verify my AOB. This causes the sim to CTD immediately. Known issue? Let me know if I need to add more info! Wrinting this in haste at work is not the best method to give precise info, but I´m hoping there is an easy solution as I love the feature! |

Can you post your mod list:yep: I will look into this and see what is happening:up: |
i played manny times that tutorial... last night i played in the same time with a good friend of mine and none of us had CTDs... in my opinion is not because of tutorial...could be a mod soup problem:hmmm:

Modlist:
Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157 [E:\Spel\SHV\MODS] Magnum_Opus_v0_0_1 NewUIs_TDC_6_3_7_ERM_Reaper7_NightVision NewUIs_TDC_6_3_7_jimimadrids_map_tools NewUIs_TDC_6_3_7_U-Jagd_Chrono Trevally Tutorials - All v0.2 (for TDW UI) Loading the Tutorial "Manual TDC 01 90 deg" and selecting the Historical Missions / Tutorial TDC. I´m running Win 7, and hope I´m starting SHV as admin. Have UAC turned completely off. It´s no big issue for me, I´ve understood the 90 degree firing method well enough to complete the tutorial by not pressing "Next" when I get to the part when the TDC checker is to be used. Thanks for your swift replies! I´m heading off to the outskirts of civilization for a week, so I may not get any opportunities to post for a couple of days. |
This has me puzzled:-?
Could be that your "Trevally Tutorials - All v0.2 (for TDW UI)" is corrupt. The fast90 is within MO already but that should not matter:hmmm: Have you tried the fast90 salvo tutorial:06: It uses the same command that is causing the crash (CheckGUIDialValueInRange|SOL_ANGONBOW|<aob_min>|< aob_max>|None|0|0). This command checks the AOB dial to ensure it is set between the (min=85) and (max=95) settings to starboard. To fix - you should uninstall "Trevally Tutorials - All v0.2 (for TDW UI)", delete and download a new copy. If you have time to try these steps, I would be very interested in what happenes. |
WILCO, but it will not be done until early next week. Have been out with the kids and my parents with snowmobiles under a bright, blue wintersky, grilling burgers and sausages. :yeah:
