The best news of my last 10 years.
 

Well, here goes: When she finished high school, my daughter Valerie decided to go to Texas A&M and study architecture. She's smart and artistic, so it seems like a good fit for her. Well, 3 and 3/4 years later and she's about to graduate with honors.... and today she was notified she has been accepted to Cornell grad school.

I was but one semester and a half into studying architecture when i discovered aviation and switched.

Congrats! She's got a great journey ahead of her. I'm friends with two recent Cornell graduates and they both enjoyed their time there quite a lot, so I hope your daughter likes it there as well. :yep:

Grad school is great... but only if you know when to quit or know what you're getting into if you're going all the way in academia. I'm still learning the hard way :dead:

My eldest, Anne, has just started college, studying Interior Design. She's now getting to grips with the course and study load, which she finds way bigger than high school.
