Is there a difference between GWX 3.0 Gold and GWX 3.0 for donation?
 

Hello there. I made a donation to Subsim and found that I am able to download the Gray Wolves 3.0 mod from Subsim now. However the GWX 3.0 Gold is available for free from their website. Is there any difference between these two downloads? I only have 72 hours to download from subsim so I would like to download the more complete version if there is a difference between them.

No, there is no difference. Way back when GWX 3.0 was released, it went to Neal first to help out Subsim. That was a long time ago, and it's still there just in case someone wants to help out. You can also donate directly, but it's not required to get GWX and the two versions are the same, as far as I know. If there are any differences it is the version available through Jimbuna's sig that is the newest.

Thanks! I greatly appreciate your help! Right now I am wanting to reinstall SH3 and GWX Gold, however I remember that I had problems with SH3 on Windows 7 64 bit but it has been so long ago that I no longer remember what the problem was that prevented me from playing it. lol!

They should both be the same Steve....the 'different/tweaked' version has never been released from my server and if I'm to be totally honest with you I can't remember how they differ now but the difference is miniscule.

You must install it outside of the program/program86 folders. In addition, on my computer, I must change the scaling to NVIDIA scaling to make the window fit my computer screen.
