Help Please. Silly question
 

Hola All,
Recently bought SH5 and installed the "Aram Victoria Curam" mod after a couple of missions with the vanilla version. What a letdown that was, but thanks for the modders once again :yeah:

Anyway, I like to play with realistic settings but still love to check out external view quite often. For some reasons I've been unable to do so.
I first select my preferred gameplay settings, all ticked but external view, and then launch 1st campaign where a drop down menu appears to confirm "realistic". I assumed all was good to go but once the mission starts I do not have the external view, ever.

What am I missing? Driving me nuts...

When in bunker (before you go in patrol) hit esc and choose ,,game play settings'' - unncheck ,,no external view'' and save
then go in patrool and will be ok then:up:

And apologies for misspelling the mod's name... should be "Amat Victoria Curam" !

Wanted to try the external view and I'm now having a weird problem with SH5...
The game launches ok, I select a mission, then the mission loading screen appears with the quote and small green radar screen and then back to the darn Ubi launcher saying it is "synchronizing games".
Back to desktop. :damn:

Four times in a row, never happened in my short SH5 life before (a week old).

Any idea?

i do not understand you... so you have like CTDs when you want to start a new mission?

Nope, no CTD.
The mission loading screen goes ok, blanks out for a sec as usual just before entering the bunker, but then instead of finding myself in the bunker I end up with the Ubi Launcher screen saying it is synchronizing games, and that's it.

Not CTD, no blue screen, no windows message announcing that SH5 has crashed or anything. Baffling :zzz:

I may try to re-install the launcher and see how it goes from there.
