[ATTN] Capt Scurvy
For your attention and any others.. a quick, small adjustment!
I don't know if this has been attended to, but when I installed your big dials mod (Now I can see what the hell I'm doing :) ) the dials covered the next button on the recognition manual, making it inaccessible. So with a bit of fidgeting I moved the 'previous/next' buttons higher in the recog manual http://www.vanjast.com/SH4NoavMod/RecogManual.jpghttp://www.vanjast.com/SH4NavMod/RecogManual.jpg In the menu1024.ini file.. the adjustments are 2 numbers.. G25 is the recognition manual (in my game that is) --------------------------------------------------------------- [G25 I34] Name=Next unit Type=1032;Button ItemID=0x25060007 ParentID=0x25060000 Pos=737,-190,32,40 ;Zone= 737 166 32 40 0 1 0x25060003 1 -0.5 0x25060007 0 -0.5 0 0 Zone= 737 166 32 40 0 1 0x25060003 1 -0.5 0x25060007 0 2 0 0 Color=0xFFFFFFFF Materials=4 Display=1;Centered Mat 0=data/menu/skins/american/data/recognitionmanual.tga Crop 0=0.266602,0.607422,0.03125,0.0390625 Mat 1=data/menu/skins/american/data/recognitionmanual.tga Crop 1=0.266602,0.607422,0.03125,0.0390625 Mat 2=data/menu/skins/american/data/recognitionmanual.tga Crop 2=0.335938,0.607422,0.03125,0.0390625 Mat 3=data/menu/skins/american/data/recognitionmanual.tga Crop 3=0.266602,0.644531,0.03125,0.0390625 MatFlags=0x1 TexFmt=0x0 Font=1 TextFlags=0x0 StatesColors=0x9F8671FF, 0x9F8671FF, 0x6B4525FF, 0x6B4525FF [G25 I35] Name=Prev unit Type=1032;Button ItemID=0x25060006 ParentID=0x25060000 Pos=83,-190,32,40 ;Zone= 83 166 32 40 0 1 0x25060003 0 -0.5 0x25060006 -1 -0.5 0 0 Zone= 83 166 32 40 0 1 0x25060003 0 -0.5 0x25060006 -1 2 0 0 Color=0xFFFFFFFF Materials=4 Display=2;Linear Mat 0=data/menu/skins/american/data/recognitionmanual.tga Crop 0=0.234375,0.607422,0.03125,0.0390625 Mat 1=data/menu/skins/american/data/recognitionmanual.tga Crop 1=0.234375,0.607422,0.03125,0.0390625 Mat 2=data/menu/skins/american/data/recognitionmanual.tga Crop 2=0.303711,0.607422,0.03125,0.0390625 Mat 3=data/menu/skins/american/data/recognitionmanual.tga Crop 3=0.234375,0.644531,0.03125,0.0390625 MatFlags=0x1 TexFmt=0x0 Font=1 TextFlags=0x0 StatesColors=0x9F8671FF, 0x9F8671FF, 0x6B4525FF, 0x6B4525FF --------------------------------------------------------------- :) |
That's one way;
using the Larger Hud dials by themselves will create a problem as you have addressed. In most of the mods I've made where I've used the Larger Hud dials I've either moved the Recognition Manual up a bit or as you did, move the "next/previous" buttons around to get to them. One other thing you can do is use the "Delete" key to hide the entire lower "Orders Bar", including the Dials, to get to a function underneath. I see in the photo, the game resolution must be set to the 1024x768 setting. At other higher resolutions the screen widens out and the larger dials won't hide so much, if anything at all. |
Ah.. Ok, no problem then :)

Another thing I was thinking, is making the dials semi transparent so that one can see the bow details of the ships (with my screen res).
Do you have a layered PSD file available on the dials?, as the mod one is 'flattened'. :) |
