For coffee lover

Anybody here a coffee lover? I am. Nothing fancy though but my coffee drinking ritual starts at 2PM and only ends at 5PM.

Yes that's for a single thin glass of iced coffee.

I sip it little by little savoring every sip. When drinking coffee outside I'm also the slowest to finish mine not as long as a 3-4 hour ritual but at least an hour for a glass. It's because nobody would wait for me to finish it in 3 hour. LOL.

I guess I'm lucky that my country is a big producer of one of the finest coffee beans. I figure coffee is much more expensive in Europe or US than here.

Anyway here's an article arguing why drinking coffee is good for you(from yahoo)

Biiig coffee lover here!
However, i will not touch plunger coffee, perculated or instant.
It has to be espresso coffee, double shot, in a cup, with no sugar and no milk.
And the coffee crema! I'll usually have about 2 at work, make 'em myself, since i run a restaurant.
Love the smell of freshly ground beans, or when i open a fresh packet of coffee beans.

Honestly no, Coffee generally makes me nauseous just to be around it.

Yep, big coffee lover here.

Interesting thing is, that in my case coffe actually lovers my blood pressure. But I dont know if it's the actuall coffee or just the fact that while I'm drinking it, it's the only time I am relaxed in the entire day

Yeah me too drinking coffee relaxes me too. Must say second to jogging. Jogging is my meditation time.

Drinking coffee lowers the blood pressure in the long run though increasing it when you are taking it. It's in the article.

Excellent, explains why I have no weight related problems despite being overweight (but not obese). I'm going to ignore the fact that I am young and moderately active so the coffee will take all the glory :DL

Terrible coffe drinker. In the winter I drink it all day and night. Guess I've done it so long, I can drink a pot of coffee before bed and sleep.

My employees use to tell me to find me at the office to just follow the coffee cups.

I used to be a coffee drinker, but I got tired of drinking cold coffee at work.

I would pour a cup, sit at my desk and the next thing I would know is that my coffee is tepid.

When I was in EOD school, I got introduced to what they called "navy coffee" where they perked it through the grounds twice.

:o:o:o:o Pretty rugged. :yeah:

Was that really a Navy custom back in the 80's?

In the U.S. there are not many states that I can get strong coffee from, there is no strong coffee may be, and in ALL countries across the globe

I read iced coffee and then felt disgusted.

I do like a rich cuppa, but mostly I drink run-of-the-mill wussy coffee. :yep:

In the forces I spent a lot of time on stand-by in a crew room drinking some 10-12 large cups of coffee a day and wondering why I couldn't sleep!!! :damn:

I then switched to decaf and had the most wonderful nights sleep. Now I have one to three cups of full-fat coffee a day, the rest is decaf. On the rare days I do have the three - I can tell I've had them! :nope:

I do like iced coffee, too, but the UK isn't the most favourable climate for drinking it most of the time! :D

Got my nickname from coffee... more specifically, the lack thereof.

I've been a coffee drinker since I was maybe 18, in college. I needed to do something to counteract the alcohol abuse of my body the night before, and coffee was it. Then came the military, when college didn't work out so good. Out of the Army, I wandered the East Coast for about four years, working here and there - only constant was a smokin' hot cuppa.

When I finally quit tobacco, I also cut my coffee intake back by about half; occasionally I'll go the whole pot, but mostly down to about half a pot a day.
