AI Sensors

Help would be appreciated.
Are the yellow circles surrounding warships the limits of their passive hydrophones?I assume the orange represents the active sonors.
In my SH3 days, I remember a Mod made by Hemisent called Thermal Layers. It seemed to reflect the change in Allied technology as the War progressed,so the very early hydrophones like the 128P were effective down to about 90m while the later ones were effective down about 110m. It seems there was also similar improvements in the actives as well,as more powerful transmitters were developed. Could this be modded into SH5?

once we can clone GR2 files yes.

As the GR2 file for Sub Sensors is nothing more then a 3D Model reposit?
(With 1 animation)
It should be possible to use the models in a way with no cloneing or new GR2 added.
(Look at the British Towers in GWX, 7 towers - one 3d model)
The AI sensor GR2 has no models so it should be possible to create new AI sensors with a dat.
This is off the top of my head but an ID call IS an ID call after all.
