A much-needed shot of good news for Boeing, after the miniscule orders for the 748i and the 787 delays. Have to say I would have preferred to see the A330 win out here, mostly on basis of looks :O:

The question now is - how quickly can the Pentagon/DoD turn that $35 billion price tag into a $350 billion catastrophe?

Let's hope that Boeing can finish a contract this time without messing it up. Their track record has not been all that good recently.

At least we can have an end to those most annoying commercials.
