GWX 3 Night

Friends:
First at all, please excuse me for my English, but this is not my native language...
I have one question to do: I'm using SH3 with GWX 3, the last version, and it seems to me that during night the screen is really, really dark.-
I know tha this were the conditions that the Kaleuns has, but I would like to have a little more light during the night hours...
Is this possible, without destroying GWX advances?

Thanks a lot for any help, and again, sorry for my sintax!

You could try some of the other Environment mods out there.

Manos Environment Pro (M.E.P.) tweaks some sky/water coloring and ambiance. OLC's GUI comes with an optional environment of its own. I think RIK007 SH5 Water also changes some colors. There are more, but I can't remember off the top of my head.

They're applied over GWX and can be easily removed, so you don't have to worry about messing up the installation.

It's worth a shot. If all else fails, you could raise the gamma settings through Windows or your graphics card driver.

If you're using an nVidia card you can press (I think) shift and either Insert/Delete or Page Up/Down keys changes the in-game AA and can make the sky lighter (with more banding) or darker.

I'm sure somebody will be along shortly to correct me if I'm wrong! :D

This also works with an ATI card btw. And it's shift + PageUP/Down as Berbunch said.

Thanks a lot to all of you!!! I'll try to use the graphics card adjustment first, and later if needed the new environment.-
By the way, is MWP 3 compatible with GWX 3?

Thanks again!!!

Cool, thought it was just nVidia - I knew I'd get some detail wrong :D
