refueling single mission
Hi, I have a big question: Is it possible to refuel torpedoes, on a mission like Curacao?, because I am a pund to sink the U-461 in both stick to it, and type the only thing he does when I go is to take a sprint and escape ....
Can someone give me a clue as refueling, or you can not refuel, I forgot to eat that I have met the objectives ... but I like to go on patrol, I love my crew OCOG .... A greeting and good watch ... |
Traducción con el google: Question: I have been very successful mission to Curaçao, and I would love to fill up in the north Atlantic, the U-461, but I fail, I get to the dairy cow ..., I approach so much that even I have grated across the port side, but he always escapes me, why? be that once the objectives are achieved can not continue indefinitely in the same mission ...?, Is it possible to refuel and how do I get? Un saludo |

It actually ends your patrol, and starts a new one from the supply ship. If you have SHC, it should do this overnight, or two days at worst (unless you are damaged, that adds time).
So it will calculate your renown and tonnage for the previous patrol, and then start you on a new one. The game treats them as two seperate patrols, there is no way ingame to do it otherwise. I'd think, with some very careful editing of the career files, you could merge the results of the two patrols, so the log books would show only one. |

As Gargamel has already noted, doing so will effectively end either your patrol or your mission as the game considers stopping at a resupply ship the same as returning to base, which to the game means you are done with that patrol or mission. To be honest I'm not even sure the option to dock at the supply ship would be given when playing a single mission, since if I remember correctly those don't start out with you docked at a home base, but plop you down somewhere in the middle of (or near to) the mission's scripted action. Since you aren't playing a career patrol, leaving base and redocking there or anywhere else don't really figure into the mission overall. The options you get following that procedure on a single mission might just be Continue or Abandon Mission (or Return To Base, with no base specified). Either way you're not going to be able to refuel on a single mission, as the only way to link up with a resupply ship is to dock there, and that means ending the mission and your gaming session. |
I didn't see the OP was referring to a single mission!
I'd have to think that resupply and refueling shouldn't even be an issue for single missions, as they are scripted to be shorter encounter's. I can see somebody scripting one with the intent of being an endurance mission, but then refueling would be negate the point of the exercise. EDIT: AHHA! Again missed the second half of the second post, thought it was all spanish. As mentioned above, you have to end a mission to use a milk cow. Just pulling alongside of one does nothing. The milkcows would only be usable in a campaign setting. Attempt at Spanish: Como mencionado anteriormente, usted tiene que terminar una misión de usar a una vaca de leche. Sólo tiramiento al lado uno no hace nada. Las vacas lecheras sólo serían utilizables en un ajuste de campaña. |
