Newbie question...Sorry in advance
 

Okay, my question is more on the how to find the different mods? I am having a terrible time in the download sections.

Using this list for example, list of Sober's Mods he is running....

I try to go to the DL section and search. Well first I went and sorted by number of Downloads thinking that the most popular ones would be there. No help. So I search...lets take Environment 5.2 MOD. I search for Enviroment, 5.2 Mod, Environment MOD, and nothing....

So, am I misisng something here?

Also, whats the opinion on required type MODS....Must haves. I am not interested in making it harder etc until I get the hang of this...Just the mods for fixing the downfalls of the plublisher/gameplay. Graphic/sounds update. GUI must haves...etc...

Thanks!! BTW, not a noob to the Subsim. Been doing it since 688I, but just have more free time, and really want to get back into it.

Just download the mega mod from the download section and try that first . A lot less hassle .

Not sure why environment mod doesnt come up when searching . Tried it and it doesnt . Its there under main / graphic mods in the sh5 download section .

Actually I hav trouble using the search function in the download section as well, I can never seem to get anything to come up. Btw Sober, beautiful picture in the screenshot thread!:yeah: makes me not able to wait for me to get into the service, and make enough money so I can buy a good enough computer to play it!! haha!
