These guys got it going on. On the sail looks to be two tubes to snorkel and a plexiglass dome with a camera inside. :hmmm:

I think they should install DCs and acoustic torps to all USCG cutters now.:arrgh!:

Cocaine subs. They've had em for years and getting better with them. I saw a news special on them a few months ago. The ones I saw were smaller, 3 man crew and really were surface runners with a deck profile that could dive a few meters if needed. This thing is huge.

they did their work. a snorkel, periscope style system. wow. The Tower even reminds me of an early GUPPY boat

What I wonder is how long it was operating before they found it. Mind you, they didn't find it at sea.

She is a nice looking boat, yea the sail looks like a GUPPY sail or at the scale shown a Japanese Kairyu class.

The hull form reminds me of a WWI era sub though....

Maybe the builders could produce a few for the Australian navy, we need a few new boats that work!

I'm sure the Royal Navy will be interested in buying some, what with the current problems with HMS Astute:nope:.

If the RN is having such problems we would be...

...more than ...

...happy to build some for them...

...or even part of one for them...

Thats a beginning mate :yeah:

There's been a few found in Ecuador - I thought this was one of them, but no, definately Colombia.

Should be seized, and given to Onkel Neal for future subsim meets :yeah:

But not used for drug-running (just some beers)

Fiberglass hull, 'scope, freakin' A/C.

Looks like we're gonna need some reinforcing of some bow plates on the National Security Cutters. Maybe a K gun or two for ol' times' sake.

So far, the smugglers are at least still defensive - they're not carrying any tin fish... yet.

But they're getting smarter. This is a step forward in tech for them, not back.

I can't be the only one who wants one of these :shifty:
