Hello everybody,I recently watched the BBC production about the Laconia incident.During the film one of the U-Boat crew is seen using a cine-camera,now is this fiction or fact.I'm curious because in 'The Battle of the Atlantic' intro movie right at the end there appears to be film of the event,is this actual real life footage or was it staged after the event by the Germans for propaganda purposes?

I can't say for sure but cine-cameras were definitely used in that period.
