[REL] NCL_Perth
Hello!
Finally, the Perth Class Cruisers are about to roam the SH3 seas. http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/...0d11bd7c6g.jpg The model resembles closest HMAS Perth & HMAS Hobart; HMAS Sydney differed slightly. However, those small differences will hardly be recognisable in the view of a periscope. Some details: http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/...e6fa014e6g.jpg The mod includes separate library files with the equipment that changes with time. This picture is from ‘41 – without air plane and catapult but with more AA guns. http://www.mediafire.com/imgbnc.php/...23147ea66g.jpg Hint (not contained in the documentation since only of interest to those used to play with S3D): The file guns_UK.dat contains new 4 torpedo launchers: 3- und 4-tube versions without director dome (mainly used on [British] cruisers); 4- und 5-tube versions with director dome (used on various destroyers). Contrasting the original SH3 torpedo launchers, the new models are centred on the pivot. So, use is only possible after adjusting the respective nodes of the ship models. Those familiar with the S3D will have no problem to fix that. In addition, I used the SH5 3D model (extracted by kovall, Russian sukhoi forum) to create a British 4.5-inch double mount (4_5InchBRDoubleT5) with AA capability. The mount is meant to replace the 4.7-inch double mounts (lacking AA capability) on Illustrious Class carriers.
