GWX 3; dl showed up as DAT files
 

I downloaded all the files from File Front all I ended up with was Dat files, there is no installer, or instructions on what to do with the files, I looked at at the instructions for GWS 3 ran the exe still nothing what am I missing here?

Look at the exe file. Does it say GWX3 only, or does it say GWX3.exe. If the former all you have to do is rename it and it should work.

This has been posted and discussed many times here, so a quick look around might have told you that.

I have tried both to no avail, when I added exe to the nd it would not let me do anything with it I even tried to delete delete it with exe added it would not let me?

You should have 7 files PLUS the exe. make sure your renaming the right file. You may have just gotten a bad download (Hashcheck said ok, but it should have failed, etc, whatever). Make sure you have all the right files downloaded.

I made sure I downloaded the right files but like I said they showed up as DAT files, not the end of the world, besides 3 is still far better than 4 with it's enormous cpu drain and crappy radar/plotting if that was the best we had compared to the Germans that really must have been the pits,lol.
