SH5 Map problem

I have just brought a SH5 normal retail game from DSE (Dick Smith Electronics),well in the first Mission Total Germany,I had problems trying to plot courses for my U-Boat to go to,is it a bug?

The first mission is a tutorial . Uninstall all mods and play vanilla until you have reached the bunker (green tick) . Follow all the instructions , go to obs scope , fire 4 torps then sink 2 more ships then etc etc . Then after you have reached the bunker and get the green tick (you can exit the game here , it will save an in base save for you) we can talk about starting a mission and installing the must have mods . Shouldnt take more than 15 minutes to complete the tutorial .

I've just completed the tutorial,I am having problems trying to plot a course as the icon just stays grey

What icon ?
What mods ?
What computer system ?

Left click on the sub icon and then left click to release where you want to go .
