RIP Jack LaLanne
Health and fitness legend Jack LaLanne has died at the age of 96.
I can still remember seeing his TV show on the old B&W telly when I was just a wee thing. http://www.npr.org/2011/01/24/133175...itness?ps=cprs Quote:

I have vague distant memories.....quite a guy right up to the end.
RIP Sir |
I saw him on a juicer commercial just yesterday! :o
|
I remember his Bicentennial stunt in which he swam a mile, towing 13 boats containing 76 people. He was 61 at the time.
I also remember his fitness show when I was growing up. Cool guy, great life. I'll miss him. |
Who will we buy our juicers from now?
Anyway, RIP. |
hard to believe. I mean, if anyone was gonna live forever, it woulda been him.
RIP, Mr. Lalanne. |
I remember watching his tv program along with my mother.
You gotta hand it to him. He lived the way he preached. :salute: |
2 hour workout at 89? wow. we used to do a 2.5-3 hour workout back in my football days and we'd be shot.
quite the man. RIP |
I remember him from The Simpsons, had a good laugh at himself!
RIP |
I figure it this way - If I can hit 96 years old and live life like he did, I'm good.
I mean, dude had energy right up until he didn't need it anymore. That's cool. |
R.I.P Sir
