Man gets 40 years in SoCal movie theater stabbing
LANCASTER, Calif. – A Southern California man has been sentenced to more than 40 years in state prison for stabbing a moviegoer in the neck with a meat thermometer during a screening of the film "Shutter Island."
Prosecutors say 40-year-old Landry Boullard was sentenced Friday in Lancaster Superior Court. He also was ordered to pay $21,000 in restitution to the victim who became comatose due to a brain injury. Boullard was convicted last month of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon. Prosecutors say Boullard stabbed the victim in the neck with a digital thermometer after the victim asked a female companion of Boullard's to stop talking on her cell phone. Two Good Samaritans who intervened in the attack suffered minor injuries. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/01/21...est=latestnews Note: Published January 21, 2011 |
Who the hell carries a meat thermometer around with them?

Don't even want to know what you could do with this and your woman companion :o
Anyways, why the hell is this guy in a movie theatre if he got charged with attempted murder and assault with a weapon. :nope: |
This is why we need more meat thermometer-control legislation passed. :O:

He had apparently not, a better weapon in his hand, maybe he came directly from a preparation for a dinner party

(one was super nature freak, avoiding anything with plastic, the other must have been uberhacker. Guy smelled of body odor, had long unkempt hair and beard, looked like he spent his entire life 24/7 at a computer, and he was putting apples IN the apple area, not removing them. Either he decided he didn't want them after picking some up, or he was up to no good. I decided to buy oranges instead.) |
