beautiful pictures but geez i didnt realise how low of an orbit the ISS is.:o

She is low enough that the atmosphere causes drag on her structure lowering her orbit. Every few months they have to push her up in her orbit with the Zvezda's main engines or with the engines of a docked spacecraft.
