vista speech recognition
 

hi guys so this is my first post blah blah

so got this problem, i am trying to use sh4speech

but when i try to use it in game speech rec tries to do stuff in the backgroud

does anyone know how to enable speech rec for the game only

i have been through nearly all the posts regarding sh4speech in the radio room

Sorry mate, I have no idea what you're talking about here (SHIV Speech Recognition). I run Vista too (64bit) and have never encountered such a thing. Straight off, it might help to know what version of SHIV you're running and what mods (if any). Have you tried disabling speech recognition in your Control Panel and then loading SHIV? BTW, welcome abroad.:D
