Hey all,

I've been playing sub sims a (very) little while and figured I'd join the forum here and be a part of the community. Currently messing around with SH4 and trying to really get the hang of things. Not much else to say, so I'll just shut up and see what I can learn.

SH4 is as good a place to start as any. You can speak up or shut up as you like, but don't hesitate to ask any and all questions, and if you have an answer to anything, please don't hold back.

Thanks for the welcome gents. I also have played a bit of SH3, but picked up SH4 now that I have a PC capable of running it. Always was a bit on the patriotic side, so I just had to jump on the chance to play on the US side of the war.

Ok, Got a question, not sure exactly where to put it so I'll just put it here. Is there a place where someone has listed a glossary where I can find meanings of all the acronyms/abbreviations you all are so fond of? Not that I'm complaining, we use PLENTY of acronyms in my line of work, it can just be a bit daunting/ confusing before you know what they are.

Like navy acronyms? Subsim acronyms?

I'm sure there are such things, but I wouldn't know where to find a list to post for you. Feel free to ask any specifics you like.

Mostly Subsim and submarine specific acronyms, I'm pretty good with general Naval ones. Though I figured out a couple that I was confused on. If I have any more problems, I'll be sure to ask.

Post a list of those you don't understand and I'm sure the community will post explanations.
