Another new guy
 

Well, I tried to get a naval type name for the forum but every one I could think of was taken. I served in the army, but Naval history has always fascinated me. I have only played one Sub game, and that was Gato back in the '80s. I really liked that game. I have purchased and installed two Silent Hunter games on my gaming PC, SH3 and SH4. I always liked the book "Iron Coffins" and have recently seen programs on the Military Channel about UBoats so I decided to start with SH3. It looks like the forum members here are first rate, and I look forward to getting involved with and learning this game!

I see the linkies at the top but no piccie underneath.

Altho when I first loaded the page, it seemed like there was a brief flash there like something was coming through just for a second, then it disappeared. :hmmm:

Edit: and now there's a rectangle that goes orange if I put the cursor over it, with the little "x" in the corner because it's not loading the image.

I can see links but not pic! :nope:

Edit: It's now the next day, and I can see the image - just thought I'd clarify that so my post doesn't look stooooopid!

it's coming up a 404 Not Found page. Looks like the problem is with the imageshack URL, ATM there doesn't seem to be a pic at the spot your sig is pointing to.
