Help me find a movie

I saw a couple of minutes of a movie a couple of years ago but couldnt find the title, nor any hint that would help me, now I turn to collective memory and knowledge of Subsim

It's a comedy about a submarine. And I remember them being hunted by a destroyer and they activated some countermeasure which made the submarine look like a whale and they were suddenly hunted by a japaneese whaler

much apreciated

Down Periscope? It's the only submarine comedy that I can think of.

It's not down periscope, that I'm sure, it was more whacky.

It was not Sonar impersonating a whale :D but the submarine actually started opening the bow like a whale opening the mouth
