bearing question (and one or two more)
Ok, so I normally do a pretty good job of finding info, be it online or in a manual. But this time I can't seem to find what I need.
So my question: When my sonar guy gives me a bearing on a new contact, or a torp in the water, is he giving true bearing as indicated by the compass, or relative bearing, where my course represents 000? Same question with the periscope. Also, can you use a joystick to control the P-3 or the MH-60? And can you land an MH-60 manually on the FFG? thanks in advance! |
Its a true Bearing.
for the joystick and manual landing. Yes and Yes. If you have a joystick plugged in the options are in the assign key options in the 'options' menu. |
Thanks Cap'n!

You will only get relative bearings if you play on the frigate.

I do enjoy the FFG but am still getting used to it. Haven't really done anything with any of the aircraft yet, but now that I know I can use the joystick I may just dig em out and give the MH-60 some time.
