Ohio Class Sub: Any Ideas?

Hi everyone, long time since I needed any help. I am running SH4 with U-boat missions and am currently using Ohio Class boat. Everything is running fine - torpedos great, speed great etc however my sonar isnt working properly. It is not interactive so tracking a target is not possible by sonar. Any ideas why this is like that.

The version of the ohio i am using is OhioSSBN beta 0.2. I disabled this on and tried another and the sonar worked great just when I put the boat at full flank, top speed was only 5 knots. Not ideal when you are trying to catch up to an enemy.

Any assistance or advice is great appreciated.

Tried another what? Another playable sub, or one of the stock ones? And which one only is going 5kts? Also are you running any other mods with the Ohio? If so which ones? Answer these questions and I can do a better job at helping you.

I tried another playable sub: OhioSSBN 1.4, LA Class 668i V4.2, LA Class for RSRDC. I think it was either the LA Class for RSRDC or Ohio 1.4 only hit 5 kts.

The sonar dials: when I click on a number like 0 etc the pointer dosent move towards it, instead the whole screen moves.

Other mods i am playing with it are: night attack, green lamp, websters free camera and scope, OPCF v1.2 grean stock 1.5 nd RSRDC SH1.5 V550. At the moment I am with OhioSSBN beta 0.2. This is currently cruising at 25 kts, submeged in the Celebes. Right hand dial is not clickable, left hand dial is on visual switch which makes the sonar sound. Hope ths helps you a little to understand whats happening.

Reason being for that is that the LA uses the games Walther turbine system as the primary propulsion system. Switch it over and you can get full speed. :up:

I went into the game to check this out and came to this conclusion. It's a problem with the stock game. Any boat that uses the Gato interior(Tambor, Gar, Gato, Balao) you will see this problem with. However you can still control the direction by using the Home and End keys.

There's a bar above your fuel/battery/CO2 gauge on the bottom that should say either H2O2 or U-235. Click the little red button you see there.
