A question of emblems in TMO2
But first,
I would like to say thankyou for this excellent website. I first joined these forums under another user name many moons ago when I discovered the joys of SH3 GWX. I had been an ardent flyer (fs 9 and EECH ) up until that point. Thanks to the kind welcome and generous help of the folks on this forum, the world of submarine simulation was opened up to me,, along with the peculiar tension that an engagement in a submarine brings with it. Disaster struck in the form of an unfortunate power surge and inadequate surge protection on my extension lead, reducing my old rig to a pile of silicon slag in a pretty case. I have returned older, wiser, plus marriage, new home and two children and have discovered the joys of SH4 (plus a new rig....). Surfing these hallowed forums I have discoverd all of trials and tribulations of the various "supermods" in any imaginable combination. Of all of the mods available I found that TMO2 most suited me. Long-winded pre-ambles aside, my question is this. TMO2 came with the ability to load emblems onto the sides of the subs as long as they were in tga format and (if I remember correctly) 256 x 256 format. I am looking for any images ready to "port in" as emblems (plus any tips on so doing). I know that I have come "late to the party" and so many of the links in this forum to apparently ideal sites seem to be dead. Any help would be appreciated. Once again, thankyou for the kind welcome.:salute: |
Disregard the above post....
I stumbled across patches for almost every ww2 USS Sub imaginable and have converted the images appropriately. I am also hoping that my idea about having kill flags as a separately enabled mod will work....only testing will tell for sure.
I hope to be able to load up the appropriate kill flag number with mod-enabler when in port. Cheers! |
