How can I remove equipment at the start of a career?
 

I'm starting a new career in May/1943 and everytime I select the type VII it comes with the FuMO29 already installed. How can I change that?

I took a look at the file playersettings.cfg and it showed:

R01=FuMO29GEMA

I tried to change that to NULL but when I start a career again it's back there! I also tried to go on my first patrol save it while at sea, change that value and load the game again but it messed up the weather somehow(clouds flashing)! :nope:


Is there a file relating year vs. equipment for each sub at the start of a career where I could change the default settings?

I'm using GWX and SH3Commander.

Start up sh3 commander, click the rollback option

close sh3com, edit the files

start sh3 com back up again
