Panam Canal mod for RSRD/TMO ?
 
Could someone whip up a mod the puts the panama canal in RSRD(for TMO) Would be cool to have it there, esp in a mission I am trying to put together.I heard it was in OM.Anyone???

I seem to recall someone actually going through the canal and posting screenshots (Rockin Robbins I think?) but that was with OM. It started with a Type VII-C and later switched to a Type IX for the range.

Glad this came up, Is the panama canal only in single missions, or can it be added to the campaign.

If not how do i get it for 1.5, Sorry for hijacking :cry:

Found the post. It was Akula, not Rockin Robbin. Both had this thing for doing trans-continental exploration in subs. ;)

I recently added the Panama, Suez and Kiel canals from FOTRS mod into my nav map make-over mod (version 1.2)
This mod is JSGME compatible and works with TMO, RFB (both with and without RSRDC) and stock SH4.

It should.

The version I have is from March with just the map/airbase changes. It appears he's made sub-mods for stock, TMO and RFB for compatibility reasons.

How do you actually add new areas onto the map. just change the map it's self or more in depth

Thanks, going to give this a run tonight.So if I enable the Lots Wife mod after this, should it show up or do I have to go and put it in the .loc file as I had to do with RSRD?

Lot's wife, (Sofu Gan) is already in there. Try it out before adding your mod to see if it's even necessary.

thank you for this and thanks to the FOTRS for adding those canals as i could not find that old mod that added Kiel, and Panama and more that was a terrain mod.

could i use that for the Surcouf mod ?

since she was sunk going towards it ;)

YES, feel free to use it in your mods. I would ask only that you give credit to the modders who's work I borrowed, (ripped off) to help make this mod. Contributors names are listed in the support directory of the mod.

PS I am working on a small patch, (#2) that has some spelling corrections and other small tweaks. It should be ready in a few days.
