BBC now reporting "at least 339" people dead. Wow... how does that even get that far out of control? And I didn't get the impression it was an event on the scale of, say, the Hajj where similar things took place before :nope:

And oh wow:
"Panic started and at least 50 people jumped in the river. People tried to climb on to the bridge, grabbing and pulling [electric] cables which came loose and electrical shock caused more deaths."

On average 112 people die on US roads every day. Let's keep deaths in perspective. We all get there.

I also avoid crowds. I have found nothing worth waiting for in a crowd. :nope:
