Another 'mystery' missle...
A large rocket lifts a 'secret' sattelite...
Lots of 'secret' stuff being tossed into orbit these days... :hmmm: http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2010/...lite-launched/ |
Big honking space gun I bet...
|
Mind control satellite!
|
Not really secret is it? Only in America... :nope:
How about *This is a launch of a new weather balloon*? :D |

It's going like that since quite some time now, and there will be more. Many cold-war-era spy satellites get replaced with more modern ones. They have not only reached the end of their technological lifetime, but many have massively exceeded it by 200 and 300 %.
If only it would be used against rogue and non-European states only. But of course assuming that would be naive. If you think you are private these days when using a wire, then you are a fool. The naivety and innocence of private business as well as companies working for state demands, surprises me time and again. Sometimes I almost wish there would be a killer asteroid heading for Earth, so that finally we would start using our stunning technological resources for something useful and constructive, for a change. But I think it will take another thousand generations before we finally are ready to leave the stoneage behind. Back then, our ancestors had clubs. Today, we still are fixiated on clubs, but clubs with chips inside and a high-tech-finish with nano-particles. |

I hate when the media calls it a "spy satellite". It is a reconnaissance satellite.
How the hell can a satellite spy? They can either perform reconnaissance or surveillance, but not spy. :nope: |
ill show you my mystery missile

A person is seldom a satellite. :know:
Spying is a human activity and involves deception. :yep: |
