External view modification
Hello
I'm playing SH3 with 100% realism tick, well 97% cos external view is unchecked and there is my question. I only use external view to make a screenshoots of my u-boat struggling on the sea, coming back to port or sailing out etc. My problem is sometimes I press external view button "<" or ">" twice and instead on my u-boat, I can see other unit. This is very annoying scecialy during "hunt", cos the hunted unit is revealed to me. Can I change anything to stop toggle between units, and pressing "<" focus only on my ship, without toggling? |
no, but it is possible to blank out that command in commands.cfg, and have <> keys do nothing :hmmm:

I use event camera instead of extrenl view doesnt interfere with gameplay yet gives some eye candy on events also just add # to another realism setting in your cfg/gameplaysettings folder and play at 100% realism ..for real ((this will work for any realism setting)) so you can still play 100% realism with even external view

Go into Data\CFG then open up the GameplaySettings CFG and alter the figures to your requirements.
Ensure all the amounts add up to 100 (see the example below). Quote:

You have me wrong. I wish to change toggle camera buttons "<" or ">" to do not toggle between ships, just show my u-boat and another pressing still shows my uboat. Exacly this happend when there in no other ships in area. I only start using external cameras because of eye candy mod that let you customise and show the pennants when you back to port. And I don't bothered by how many realism percentage show in game, cos I play in Wolves at War and renown is usless there.
