TMO - couple of probs
 

Im having a slight problem and wonder if anyone can help me.

Im surfaced and my crew dont want to come up on the bridge even though they should be on it according to the crew chart. Ive also had a problem with my repairmen.. I got damaged and assigned a squad to get to repairing the various damaged parts of the sub however in the 2 days of sailing, nothign seems to have been repaired even though they had a whole list of items to fix. I then went to crashdive when i saw a plane and plummeted to the bottom of the ocean head first! :o

Also, my compressed air level is staying at 15/100 even though im surfaced and have been surfaced for a few hours. Edit: My CA is actually rising so it thinks im still submerged?

Any ideas?

Edit: Shut down the game and restarted it and it seems to have solved the problem regarding crew on bridge and CA levels :)

You've found the answers, just know this has been a stock issue from the beginning with no known fix, not TMO or other mods. Some say alt/tabbing a lot is the problem, seems to happen to me regardless, but a save and reload will correct it.

I have another question, if you'll be so kind.

I started a campaign in 1941. I sailed to my patrol location and was asked to take out any targets i may encounter. I decided to sail to a port and spotted a light tanker and sunk it. There were another 3 small ships in port. Besides these docked ships, all ive come across is a measly convoy of 2 sampans in about 2 weeks game time. Is something wrong here? I cannot stay surfaced for long during the day without getting bombed by planes so its frustrating trying to wait on the surface to find any targets. So i guess my question is, are ships in the game or have i hit some bug where they all disappeared?

Disabled TMO and then edit the Airstrike.cfg file

Im playing RFB at the moment but same thing.

Go into SH4/mods/TMO/data/cfg folder then open up Airstrike.cfg with notepad.

Maximum Aircraft Range=2000 - I changed mine to 250.

Save file then enable TMO.

Your see other adjustments you can make, I found just editor the range slowed the aircraft attacks.

Is it normal that i havent seen an enemy ship in so long though? Is this a bug?

Some areas are quite empty.

TMO has a map attached to the radio that shows the convoy routes. Check the map and hunt near shipping lanes. I believe single merchants are found in various locations, not just on the convoy routes.
