MaxOptics IV for OM?

Is there a version for Operation Monsoon?

No, not specifically. I have never looked at OM to tell you what it actually covers, besides having U-Boat missions added to the SH4 patched to the 1.5 game. It's entirely possible the "MaxOptics IV for SH4 1.5" (the stock game) will run fine with OM. This is the correct version found HERE. Run this version after activating OM in JSGME.

Bear in mind, the MaxOptics mod only increases the magnification of the various stations within the sub. It was not made to be a "correction" for accurate use of the tools at these stations (such as being able to use the periscopes Telemeter division marks to find height or length of a target). The game needed the objects to appear larger for better visibility and this is just what Maxoptics provides but, there is no increase in accuracy than what the stock game provides. If there is, it's purely accidental.

I'm working on a mod that will do just that though. The "Optical Targeting Assist" mod will correct the views (which by the way; objects will end up larger than the stock game due to the correction. So, MaxOptics isn't too far off.) and allow for accurate tool usage from reading correct Telemeter divisions, to Stadimeter readings. This will create more accurate Range, Speed, and AoB findings, just because the view of the world is more accurately protrayed. Having a version of Optical Targeting Assist made specifically for OM may take a bit of time however, each ship will need to be checked for correct height and length since Lurker has added many new ones through this mod. And since you play as a U-Boat captain, I know there are many Allied ships needing corrections from the stock game alone.
