Um. What?
June 1940. I had to save and quit SH3 earlier. The only option I had on quitting the game was to dock at Calais (listed as a friendly port) so I did.
Just reloaded the game and I seem to have spawned inside a French freighter (which is hostile but unarmed) and the entire port defences (possibly including a destroyer) are blazing away at us. I can move the boat under engine power, but this also moves the freighter. I can't get a screenshot cos it's still running on my desktop but ... um ... any suggestions for my next move?! |
The ultimate Q-sub. Nice going there, I'd take it out for a spin, you're in the port, shoot the enemy.
I just hope you don't play DID! :hmmm: |
Start a new career and in future only dock at your assigned flotilla port, milch cow or supply vessel.

With the supply ships (early in the war) and the available ports later on (once Lemp hands the allies an Enigma on a silver platter) and all the supply ships are sunk there's plenty of safe ports (outside of your home port) you can use. General rule of thumb is that any port that has a flotille based there is safe to use. |
Next time don't let Bernard be in charge of docking:doh:

I say do the only reasonable thing. Make a Youtube video about your freighter assaulting Lock Ewe. I assume that you've tried an earlier save game?
