Today, Americans know him as the heartthrob star of Fox's House -- but across the pond, he's been famous since the '80s. I'm surprised at how many of those people I've never even heard of, much less known/cared where they were from.

there were a hand full of them where i was like "Who the hell is that?

interesting though it was. I didnt know Damian Lewis was a Brit, but he was about the only one that really surprised me. Many of them are terrifically talented.
