Florida citizen's chose Rick Scott to be our new Governor last night.Scott is a self made businessman who took $125,000, his life savings and started a health care company that became a billion dollar buisness.Scott is an example of the American dream and is a true outsider, having never been in politics before, which is a good thing.The only thing his opponents had on him was a medicare billing fraud case at his company which he was not guilty of but opponents continued to harp on over and over, which almost worked.Luckily the citizens of Florida are smart enough to see through the crap thrown up.

So now we have a new Governor who owes only the citizens his job(used mostly his own money for his campaign) and now unions etc as Sink would have.Lets get to work:salute:

We sent Marco Rubio to the Senate and elected Pam Bondi to be our next AG, she will continute the fight against Obamacare,

Also noteworthy, South Florida voters voted out wackjob, pedophile looking, lispy Rep Alan Grayson (D-FL) who claimed during the healthcare debate that Republicans wanted people to "Die, Die, Die"

Pedophile looking? I think I'll start a list of name calling used by people to describe the people they "admire" least. Should prove.... nothing.

If you dont think that yesterdays results were NOT a referendum on the current administrations agenda you have another thing comming.

Those were Marco Rubio's words, Steamwake, not mine. If your ire must be directed, then point it towards he, not I. Personally, I believe that those words will not be looked upon kindly by the establishment, and will significantly shorten his longevity as Republican poster child. That is a shame, but it is how it works in the major parties.

Rubio was correct and think he will be just fine.The Bush years have stained the GOP, much how Obama is staining the Democrats(who were viewed fairly positive after Clinton) The GOP drifted from it's pinciples and Rubio is an example the attempt to return to the principles that has made the GOP the other major party for many years.The people still vote and hold the powe as we saw yesterday and in the primaries earlier this year.

I hope not, Rubio needs some more time in national office, maybe in 2016 he can run.

Rubio is exactly correct. This is a second opportunity for R's in office to act as they have claimed that they are - fiscally conservative. The fact is that the tea party movement (which helped elect 2 african american republicans btw - what a racist group!) is now the watchdog and conscience of the republican party, and that is a good thing. Without centralized leadership, but instead being beholden to their constituents, I suspect the "tea partiers" will help keep the r's on track.

But no - this was not an embracing of "republican" policies - because the people are not real sure what they REALLY are. What it is - is a repudiation of the Obama domestic agenda AND an embracing of fiscal common sense - with the expectation that the R's will embrace that in action as well.
