Al-Qaida Said To Be Planning European Hostage-Takings

http://www.spiegel.de/international/...725618,00.html

The article is of today, but it's message is on my screen since early September. I know from a first hand source that officials in Germany invest immense energy in trying to prevent any rumours about this to reach the public. It was described to me as the biggest "suppressive initiative since 2006".

and Bin Laden is still alive ! :O:

Don't worry, most European Muslims don't agree with Bin Laden...

so only 49% of your local Muslim population might be convinced to join his jihad and capture their neighbors (then presumably behead them on webcam). :yep:

Al-Qaida says a lot, and if they planned it like this activity, so they will not go out with any info directly, and if so, I am hardly surprised when they have networks, all over the world

I think Al Quaeda are given more credit that they're due.

Sure pulling off the twin towers was something else, but since then what have they really achieved?

London 7/7 well I wouldn't put that in the same league. So either the security forces are doing a really really good job or Al Quaeda aren't that great.

They don't have to be. They only have to be lucky once and then the government does the rest of the work for them.

"All we have to do is send two mujaheddin [...] to raise a small piece of cloth on which is written "al-Qaeda" in order to make the generals race there, to cause America to suffer human, economic and political losses."

After that, keep the pressure on, keep the threats up and concentrate on your local war whilst periodically threatening the home countries of those who have soldiers in your area.
Anyone can be a terrorist, everyone can be a terrorist, you don't even need explosives, use a knife, use poison, sabotage public works. Sure, the bigger the act the more fame you will gain amongst your peers, but what is the true definition of a terrorist?

Hard to tell what the media tells us, I don't trust all what is said and I will not live in fear. Just get on with it I say, no point falling for the fear from both sides.

Well if we don't hear from you Skybird, we'll know why. :hmmm:

3-days later... Al-Qaida asks "How much $$$ we pay you,to take him back ?". :p2:

I say take them. More power to them. Perhaps then the Euros will recognise the enemy.

Tell that to the families of the people that died.

:hmmm:
Statements like that tend to make the Euros classify you as the enemy...

Just saying... :hmmm:

Have the Euros seen an enemy they won't try to avoid? I don't feel afraid. But Euros should be afraid.
