Russian Sub ID in this movie?
 

Can anyone tell me what kind of sub this is? The movie is Russian. Thanks.

I think its a variant of the Shchuka class boat. At the end the conning tower looks like one of a Whiskey or Quebec with guns on it (Some did).

The "German Destroyer" appears to be a Soviet Kotlin class vessel.

The sub at the end looks like a Golf.

Not that I speak Russian but the submarine seemed a bit thin, to be a Whiskey-class, they played the movie in the 60s?

I looks very close to a Whiskey, my guess is they used an older model of Whiskey. There were 200 of these subs built in 5 different batches; that is plenty of room for a little variation.
