Harry.... really???

Harry Reid compares Obama to the Chilean Miners...

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/vid...an_miners.html

Lets not get into that whole prompt concise course of action taken on the oil spill now shall we?

Honestly its a damn good thing the US federal goverment did not get involved or those poor miners would still be in the mine while the administration seeks out 'whose ass to kick'.

Harry is losing it, I really hope and pray this is his last term.

I don't see how his defeat will make any difference, but okay.

Yes, but the steps are going sideways, not forward.

Do the Washington tango! Dance around the issues! Cha-cha up to the pork barrel! Limbo under accountability! Samba up to the lobbyist dollars!

Easy, the guy is not part of our reality. In short, he is completely out of touch. Pelosi is right there with him. What these two have done has not worked. Time to try something else IMO.

Yes, but my point is that we are replacing them with the members of a party who's ideas have also failed. I'm reminded of the Simpson's Treehouse of Horror episode when Kang, running for president, proclaims in a campaign speech:

'The politics of failure have failed! We need to make them work again!'

We are not replacing them with members of a party that failed. We are replacing them (with any luck) a new group of folks that are thinking a bit more clearly then what is there now and what was there in the past. In short, I hope everyone of the career politicians are gone. In all reality, DC is completely out of touch. Harry Reid just happens to be the target today because he is likening the situation to miners in Chile. :88)

We're replacing Democrats with Republicans. Nothing new there. I've been told over and over again why I should not vote for the Democrats. What I have not been told is why I should vote for a Republican, other than the fact that he or she is not a Democrat. And so we usher out one generation of career politicans and replace them with the next generation of career politicians. So, I am going to take that advice and not vote for the members of the Democratic Party.

Heh... 'more of the same'.

You have any idea how long Reid has been in the senate? Since 1986 for cryin out loud.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

And what? His Republican replacement will become yet another career politician; beholden to special interest and serving the personal will rather than that of the people. Yes, more of the same, but with a different letter to the right of the name.
