Unknown Damage at 150 feet
Running TMO 2.0...I love the mod! It's a gem!
But while running submerged at 150 feet, and time compressing X512 I suddenly get damage. And I was in deep waters, no chance to scrape bottom. Is this aircraft attacking me? At 150 feet? I know planes could see shallow subs, but how deep must I go to hide from aircraft? Thanks! |
It may very well have been spotted by a patrolling Japanese aircraft. A lot depends on the weather conditions. If the seas were calm and the skies clear a patrolling Japanese plane might well have spotted the shadow of your sub at 150 ft. This is especially true in TMO.
Suggestion, from now on make sure you dive below 200 ft to avoid be detected from Japanese patrols. It has worked for me. :yeah: |

Deep Water near the entrance of Tokyo Bay

Hmm, think a plane got ya.:arrgh!: |
Plane, but should be mild damage at 150ft. Some planes drop the deeper charges and you'll find this happens a lot near Tokyo bay. I use RSRD and I think it nerfs some of TMO sight settings and bomb depth, but one type still drops the deeper charges.
Sometimes it's best to just go a lil deeper playing TMO alone if you're gonna patrol submerged using higher time compressions. |
Hmmmmm, entering Tokyo Bay huh?:hmmm: Just how deep is the water in them there parts?
|
:hmmm: Hmmm... time compression x512 submerged? and near coast?
- And near enemy territory?? Can not recommend that combi! :D |
I am betting more on the mine if entering Tokyo Bay.

OpMonsun
Guys,
Im trying out OpMonsun at the moment V720 with OMEGU. Im getting the same problem/ However Im getting it at 60M!!!??? (180feet) Surely Id be safe at 180 feet in the North Atlantic? I cant imagine water visibility is too hot up there? Or is it me being a mong? |
