RELEASE Torpedo room Type II 1.0
 
Hi Kaleuns,

I have been working for quite a time to convert Tomi's torpedo room for the Type II to SH3. I also added some objects and more are to come.

The whole project is now in open beta state, and I would appreciate feedback from the huge community of Subsim.

Nearly eight months after the start of this project, Version 1.0 now is ready for release. The mod adds a torpedo room to the interior of the type II boat. A couple of objects in the command room are changed or completed, too. Also the mod is JSGME-compatible, please read the readme file, especially players that do NOT use LSH and OLC GUI will probably face problems otherwise. Torpedo room Type II 1.0 is compatible to stock SH3, Lsh, GWX and WAC (probably to any super mod, if installed as described in the Readme.txt).

Try the MOD with GWX, he is completely JSGME-ready (just one file). Would actually work. If not, simply disable via JSGME !

I can't really tell if the mod will work with GWX in the current version, but I think there is a chance because only the inderiour.dat - file is changed. As Magic says, it's worth a try, in worst case you will have to deactivate it again.

I've just installed this mod on a GWX installation and it works great! The lighting is a bit too bright IMO, but the model looks really nice! Thanks MCHALO12!

BTW, are we supposed to see crew members in the torpedo room like in this picture form the German forum? They didn't show up when I installed it.

Great news that the mod is also working with GWX.

@ NewCaptain: As Alex said, crew is one thing that will be included in version 1.0. So will be working lights in the Torpedo room an a changed camera position in command room.

@ privateer: I did not try it until now as there were more urgent problems to solve, but I will try to include it. I hope you will help me again when the time has come :)

Tomi already ensured me, that he will send me his engine room when finished. So look forward to the complete type II interiour guys!

Could anybody tell me how to change the name of the thread? I only managed to change the heading in the first post, but not in the thread overview.
