Single Mission via SH3Commander
Good evening to all Kaleun!
I have one simple question (may be it has been asked before, but I could not find any thing about it) How do you play a "Single Mission" when launching the Game (GWX3) via SH3 Commader? Apparently once you are in the game, you have to select the same year and flotilla as set up in SH3Commander......But most mission hazve their individual seeting and the only thing you can chose is your type of sub! Sorry if this question seems dumb! Thanks for your help :D Borgneface |
I think the only difference Commander makes in Single Missions is that you get the mission with all your Commander setups in place.
I'm not sure selecting boat and date in Commander makes any difference. But I've been wrong before. Jaesen should be along soon to straighten us both out. :sunny: |
Yeah....even when using Commander your able to choose any type of boat in any year you want.

Selecting the same uboat type and date allows SH3Cmdr to copy in the uboat and date based files relevant to the mission (for example, if you select VIIC/41 the correct model will be loaded, which wouldn't be the case had you just selected the boat type in SH3). Selecting Flotilla doesn't do much, just ensures the right water textures are loaded (even though IIRC Flotilla isn't an option in SH3 single missions, if you intend running a Med based mission you could select the appropriate Flotilla in SH3Cmdr to ensure the correct water textures are loaded).
SH3Cmdr really is aimed more at the campaign player, though. |
