Setting to adjust torpedo arming distance
Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the torpedo's arming distance?

Why you want to do this? This safety fuse in torpedos was there to prevent u-boat from taking damage from explosion. The same situation is modeled in the game, to close to explosion causes damages and hurt people (try using your gun close to the ship). So where is the sens to do this? Torpedi is armed after first 300m this is very,very close distance for perfect hit.

Welcome aboard hecker, I'm not 100% sure but it may be hard coded but failing that I should imagine if it is doable you would need to use a programme such as SH3Editor.
As already pointed out the arming distance is 300m (400 for the Falke)...the reason being any closer and your sub would be damaged or destroyed by the explosion. |
Of course, is you want to give your all for the fatherland, arm the torpedoes in your tubes and ram the target.:woot:
