Admittedly i was somewhat disappointed that the engine rooms cannot be entered.

Nice picture out the scope there. I went to the Nautilus when I was in Sub School and my pictures didn't turn out so well. I blame the crappy weather.:haha:

Actually, the reactor is still there. Only the fuel rods were removed.

I didn't expect that there is really much to see of the reactor - except for this hatch that was in the movie "Ice Station Zebra" where you could like right into the reactor.
I wonder if such a hatch really exists. The turbine room would have been very interesting to see though.
