Audio Problem

Hey all,

Curious sound problem has popped up in my SH. Whenever i go underwater with my freecamera and surface, my engine noise goes haywire. Sounds like something ticking 5 or 6 times a second. It's also incredibly loud.

I've had the problem on and off for as long as i could remember, but it would happen once and go away for weeks if i just changed my engine speed.

While it still goes away easily enough, it's now happens every.single.time i go underwater with the camera. It also has begun happening very frequently simply by changing compartments, which as you can imagine, makes it something of a annoyance to play. I gave up on a chase tonight and quit the game because it's reached the stage where it's real immersion breaker and enjoyment killer. My searches online revealed a fault was meant to be fixed in 1.3, but beyond that i couldn't find anymore information.

If anyone has any advice or fixes for the problem, i'd be absolutely thrilled.

Good hunting
-M

Is this with SH4? Pacific or Atlantic? What mods are you using?

With DBSM for SH4 there was a problem with a rythmic 'thumping' sound after using 32x time compression, which someone came up with a fix for and I incorporated into a small add-on mod. If it's regular SH4 in the Pacific, this is the first I've heard of it.

Yeah, SH4. Balao class boat, v1.5.

Mods:
-TMO 2.0
-RSRDC
-3D Radar and TDC

Sorry, probably should have mentioned it in the first post =p

Doesn't matter if I've used time compression or anything. Always consistent.

Actually, having thought about it, this has only started since i got my Balao. Not even this campaign either, last campaign as well, when i upgraded from a Gato.
