Adjusting Realism

Hi,

I've just installed SH3 and fiddled with the graphics until it runs at 1920x1200. I haven't done anything else to it yet.

My question is, how do I adjust realism? I see posts here that mention it all the time, but I can't find any mention of it in the manual or any place in the game where I can adjust settings.

Clearly I'm not understanding something...
